HISTORY

SpaceLounge is...
a San Francisco based collective. The group numbers around 60 and consists mostly of djs and designers in their late-twenties and early-thirties; residing not only in San Francisco, but Los Angeles, Boston and New York as well. The collective serves as an outlet for the members and their friends and family to actively and creatively express themselves. This is accomplished through a series of collaborative events and projects, one of which is Burning Man.

No one but the greater community profits from SpaceLounge, and no one is paid for their labor. Each member of the collective pays yearly dues and any additional monies from fundraisers are used to create future art events and projects for the greater community.

For us it not about the money, but rather creative expression, community, having fun and something called a vibe.

But most of all its about the love...
